Trainers

Ian Hopper

My name is Ian Hopper. I've been training for almost 2 years now. My focus on the way I train is functional fitness. I'm a firm believer in training for longevity. I want for myself and others to be the grandparents who can still run around with their grandkids with very little limitations on physical or mental capability.

I work with men and women alike. In my time as a trainer, about 90% of my clients have been women. I love working with moms who just want to get their strength back and help them realize the strength they didn't know they had.

I recently acquired my CrossFit level 1 certification because of my love for functional fitness. I understand that certain aspects of CrossFit can be abnormal, but the methodology of CrossFit is what I found a love for.

My personal fitness accomplishments include running a half marathon and a full marathon. I have entered into the CrossFit Open in 2023. I have acquired approx. 930 training hours.

I've been immersed in the world of coaching and training since 2015, forging a multifaceted career that spans diverse athletic disciplines and specialized domains. Since 2018, I've passionately competed in Strongman and Powerlifting, making a mark in these fiercely competitive arenas. Additionally, I've tackled several sprint triathlons, demonstrating my versatility as an athlete.

My journey has taken me to qualify and compete at the national level, sharing the stage with some of the world's strongest individuals. Beyond my own achievements, I've had the privilege of working closely with elite athletes in the NFL and WNBA, as well as collegiate stars in Division 1 sports.

My expertise extends to preparing clients for various challenges, whether it's bodybuilding and Strongman contests, powerlifting meets, or rigorous military training for both basic and advanced warfare. Moreover, I've assisted federal law enforcement personnel in their pursuit of peak physical performance.

My specialization encompasses an array of facets, including rehabilitation, pain-free performance enhancement, rigorous strength training, conditioning, and comprehensive pre and post-natal care. Notably, my versatility extends into the entertainment realm, where I've lent my skills as a stuntman in the world of film and television while also educating students in high school on the art of stage combat.

Backed by a robust portfolio of certifications, which range from corrective exercise and movement therapy to sports performance, I've amassed a wide-ranging skill set. My proficiency in soft tissue and manual therapy techniques ensures that my clients consistently perform at their best.

Get Fletched began as an Idea back in 2015 when I saw just how little individuals knew about their bodies and their health. Bringing this idea to life, I received certifications and an education in Fitness, Corrective Exercise, and nutritional health to combat this issue. I have since then gone on to bigger and broader horizons and have changed countless lives with a groundbreaking teaching format and skills.

In 2020, I founded Get Fletched and started my journey to change the world. At Get Fletched, my mission is to exceed expectations in service, material, and content. As an active member of the fitness community, I want to provide all who work with me with groundbreaking skills to transform their mental, physical, and spiritual health. Whether you’re a novice taking the first steps toward fitness or an exercise fanatic hoping to optimize your results, I'm here to help!
